Your potential is our inspiration.Where You’ll Make a Difference• Carry out routine electrical testing, including Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and Residual Current Device (RCD) testing.• Complete planned maintenance tasks on industrial processing equipment and related site services.• Respond to equipment issues and breakdowns, identifying faults and resolving them safely and efficiently.• Drive reliability improvements by identifying recurring issues and helping reduce unplanned downtime.• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, completed work and follow-up actions.• Work to high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping in a food and pharmaceutical production environment.• Communicate clearly with engineering, technical, quality and production teams to support effective problem solving.• Contribute to improvement projects, including capital projects, energy-saving initiatives and automation-related activities.What Makes You the Right Fit• Qualified or working towards qualification as an Electrical Technician through HNC, NVQ, SVQ3 or City & Guilds pathways.• Experience with industrial electrical systems, maintenance activities and safe working practices.• Strong fault-finding capability and ability to install, modify or optimize equipment performance when needed.• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and perform effectively in a manufacturing environment.• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.• Experience using SAP PM or another Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).• Interest in developing expertise in industrial automation, controls and process reliability.• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, technical, quality and production teams.How Would You Stand Out?• Experience within food, pharmaceutical or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) manufacturing environments.• Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) and industrial automation systems.• Knowledge of BS7671:2018 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations).Why Choose Us?• Opportunity to work with diverse industrial equipment and modern manufacturing technologies.• Ongoing training and development in electrical engineering and industrial automation.• Exposur...
