An active Secret clearance is required. Responsibilities Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components, and devices associated with electrical equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans. Installing and mounting electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components. Performing interlock wiring as required. Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices. Inspecting installation sites and studying work orders, building plans, and installation manuals in order to determine materials requirements and installation procedures. Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problems. Reading contract drawings. Troubleshooting EMS systems, smart breakers, and relays. 50% travel role. Possibility for mandatory overtime, which may fluctuate and include night and weekend work. Required Skills and Qualifications Active Secret security clearance. Four (4) years of experience working in the electrical industry. High School diploma or GED required. Must successfully pass a background check and drug test. Reliable transportation. Journeyman's license is required. Additional experience with: Leading teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision. Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs, and Safety Audits. Installation of head end equipment for access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems. Performing take-off of project drawings. Documenting daily reports and project progress.
