Knowledge Road is looking for a full-time Special Education Teacher (SETSS) to join our team and provide critical support for students in NYC Department of Education (DOE) schools. With a substantial shortage city-wide of qualified special education teachers, your skills are urgently needed to help students get the individualized instruction they need. This is an opportunity to work directly with students who require specialized academic support, helping them reach their learning goals through targeted intervention and evidence-based teaching.

As a SETSS teacher with Knowledge Road, you will provide individualized and small-group instruction in educational settings, working closely with families and school teams to promote student progress and academic success.

Responsibilities:

As a Special Education Teacher (SETSS) with Knowledge Road, you will:

- Provide high-quality, individualized, and small-group instruction for students with disabilities, as outlined in their Individualized Education Service Programs (IESP).

- Ensure completion of each individual student's weekly IESP requirements and keep an intervention schedule aligned with the school schedule.

- Develop and submit quarterly progress reports and maintain regular family communication with updates on progress and next steps.
