About the Role We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Rapid Response organization - regionally-based teams in the US, UK, and APAC that keep our customers unblocked around the clock. You’ll manage engineering teams of senior ICs directly, set the technical and operational bar for the group, and make sure work is prioritized correctly across a demanding mix of urgent and long-term needs. This team sits at the intersection of Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales. Your teams handle urgent pre-sales requests, urgent customer issues, and other customer-driven feature requests, alongside the backend maintenance and integration work that keeps the platform stable. You’ll need to be equally comfortable setting engineering standards, coaching engineers, and triaging competing priorities across time zones. This is a 100% remote role, with preference for candidates located in Massachusetts, Maryland, or Greater Austin TX. What You’ll Do Manage and grow engineering teams based in the US, UK, and APAC, providing hands-on people leadership, coaching, and career development Set priorities across urgent pre-sales requests, urgent customer issues, customer feature requests, and backend maintenance/integration work, balancing reactive and proactive work Ensure continuous, follow-the-sun coverage for urgent customer and pre-sales needs across time zones Partner closely with Customer Success and Sales leadership to understand customer and deal-critical needs and translate them into engineering plans Partner with Product and other Engineering teams to ensure customer-driven work is integrated into the broader platform roadmap Own the team's engineering quality bar, including code quality, root-cause practices, and long-term fixes over one-off patches Drive hiring, onboarding, and performance management across all three regional teams Establish and refine on-call, escalation, and incident response processes for the team Report on team health, throughput, and customer outcomes to engineering and company leadership Remove blockers for your teams and stay close enough to the technical work to make credible calls under pressure What You’ll Bring 5+ years of experience managing software engineers, ideally across distributed or multi-region teams Experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or threat in...
