The Eaton Project and Programme function is responsible for providing the strategy for the planning and execution of all development and production programmes. The function controls programme costs, manages adherence to technical and schedule performance plans. The function manages the risks and opportunities and directly interfaces with customers as required.Key Responsibilities:Successful management and control of high value and complex projects and programmes, in a multi-disciplinary environment.Experience within a product design & development business using the concept of the concept of Product Lifecycle Management.Excellent knowledge of scheduling techniques to create WBS, OBS and PBS. Competent in creating, maintaining and reporting project schedules using MS Project including integrated master schedules across multiple projects in a programme or portfolio.Management of project resource demands to support the planned scope of work / schedule across multiple projects, a programme or portfolio.Able to effectively define, manage and control work packages / assignmentsSuccessful subcontract management & generation of subcontract statements of work.Conversant with the deployment of effective issue, risk & opportunity management strategies and techniques, including schedule and cost risk analysis.Familiarity with ERP systems e.g. IFS.Familiar with collating project data and supporting effective reporting to meet business governance requirements.Ensure projects within the program align with overall business objectives.
