Overview US Conec is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and continuously improve environmental, health, safety, and ergonomics programs within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing operational risk, strengthening workplace safety culture, and driving continuous improvement through close collaboration with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Human Resources, and site leadership. Responsibilities Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, Safety, and Ergonomics programs that support business objectives and regulatory compliance. Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to EHS team members, including Safety Coordinators and the EHS Ergonomics Specialist. Serve as the primary EHS subject matter expert and trusted advisor to leadership, Operations, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams. Establish and manage EHS goals, budgets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and strategic improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations. Maintain all required permits, reporting processes, documentation, and compliance records. Lead internal audits, external audits, regulatory inspections, and corrective action initiatives. Conduct hazard assessments, workplace inspections, incident investigations, root cause analyses, and risk mitigation activities. Develop, implement, and maintain critical safety programs, including Lockout/Tagout, Machine Guarding, Hazard Communication, Powered Industrial Trucks, PPE, Electrical Safety, and Emergency Preparedness. Oversee contractor safety programs, environmental compliance efforts, emergency response planning, and physical security coordination. Evaluate new equipment, manufacturing processes, and facility modifications to ensure safe and compliant operations. Manage ergonomics and occupational health programs designed to reduce injury risk and improve employee well-being.
