We are looking for an experienced EU Risk & Compliance Manager to join us in Dublin, supporting two of our highest-priority compliance domains: AML/CFT oversight for our EEA regulated payments subsidiary and data protection compliance for our European entities. This position, based in Dublin, is a “second line of defence” role and will focus in particular on supporting the Global Risk & Compliance team in overseeing anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing compliance and data protection compliance to meet Irish and EU regulatory requirements and expectations. This will be a broad, varied role working with multiple business stakeholders and legal partner teams across Etsy, including business risk owners, group compliance and legal functions and internal audit.We are looking for someone who can work in an extremely fast paced and dynamic environment, who can provide strong guidance and practical advice to a wide range of partners and who has an interest in learning and growing their career in dynamic, evolving regulatory environments. You must be comfortable explaining complex regulatory compliance matters succinctly and be capable of tailoring compliance practices to the company’s business and operating model. This is a full-time position reporting to Etsy’s Global Head of Risk & Compliance, based in Ireland.
