Executive Interpreter

About NCSOFT America NCSOFT America is seeking an Executive Interpreter to support clear, accurate, and confidential communication between Korean- and English-speaking stakeholders. This role will primarily focus on real-time interpretation in executive meetings and business-critical discussions, while also supporting translation and light project coordination needs across the organization as needed.   Position Overview The executive interpreter will participate directly in executive meetings and business-critical discussions to provide real-time Korean-English interpretation, ensuring that tone, intent, context, and nuance are accurately conveyed. This role requires strong business acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to support confidential internal discussions that inform business decisions. The primary focus of the position is to enable clear, effective, and immediate communication during live executive and cross-functional meetings, rather than serving as a primarily written translation role. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced gaming environment, understanding gaming terminology and business context, and bring experience supporting executive-level interpretation.   Responsibilities Provide accurate, timely, and context-aware Korean-English interpretation during executive meetings, business reviews, strategic discussions, and other stakeholder communications. Support simultaneous or near-simultaneous interpretation for sensitive, confidential, and business-critical conversations with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment. Help Korean- and English-speaking stakeholders understand not only the language, but also the business implications, decision points, risks, priorities, and cultural nuance behind the discussion. Translate written materials as needed, including meeting notes, presentations, emails, internal documents, follow-up items, and other business communications. Assist leadership, cross-functional teams, and multiple stakeholders with interpretation and translation needs across both formal and informal settings. Accurately interpret gaming-related terminology, product discussions, development concepts, publishing topics, localization, live operations, monetization, operational updates, and cultural nuance. Capture, clarify, and summarize key meeting takeaways, decisions, action items, and follow-ups when needed. Provide light project coordination or PM support, including scheduling assistance, action item tracking, follow-up coordination, and team alignment support. Help bridge communication between Korean- and English-speaking teams by ensuring tone, intent, context, and business meaning are clearly conveyed.   Qualifications Fluency in Korean and English, with strong verbal communication, listening, and comprehension skills in both languages.
