Base Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour, plus $2.50 per hour shift differentialShift: 11PM-7AM - Sunday-ThursdayThe Blend Plant Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating blending equipment at the Extrusion facility in Rocky Mount, to manufacture lineal products according to specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. This role ensures accurate ingredient handling, equipment operation, and adherence to all safety, environmental, and quality requirements.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate blending, mixing, and related production equipment according to standard operating procedures.Measure, weigh, and add raw materials and ingredients accurately based on production formulas.Monitor blending processes, temperatures, pressures, and batch times to ensure product quality.Perform routine equipment inspections, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.Record production data, batch records, and quality checks accurately and completely.Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with housekeeping and safety standards.Follow all safety, health, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including proper use of PPE.Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to report equipment issues or product deviations.Assist with loading, unloading, and transferring materials as required.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
