ProfessionalPosition Details:The Opportunity:The Finance/Budget Manager reports to the Director of Administrative Services (DAS) and is responsible for the daily financial administration of the College of Education, Sport, and Human Sciences (CESHS). Acting as the second-in-command to the Director of Administrative Services, the position manages the college's operations and is accountable for resource allocation across the college. Additionally, this position provides financial support for the Field & Certification Services team, specifically in coordinating and hiring field supervisors. The Finance/Budget Manager performs various complex fiscal functions independently and supervising fiscal employees, including planning, assigning tasks, training, and evaluating their performance. It requires independent judgment to review issues, articulate solutions, and apply standards to complex financial situations while interacting with administrators, faculty, and staff. This position has delegated approval authority from the Director of Administrative Services, when necessary, within Workday. Furthermore, the position supervises the fiscal staff within the college and serves as the lead for other fiscal roles in the College of Education. It is the main point of contact for all fiscal-related tasks, projects, and issues pertaining to the college.Additional Information:This is a full-time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.Monthly Salary:$5,598.96 - $6,255.82 | Commensurate with experience and qualificationsIn accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position.
