Job Overview  Jensen Hughes is now seeking an experienced Engineer - FLS Inspections and Field Audit to join our operations in India.  In this role you will be responsible for conducting fire protection and life safety inspections. This role involves working closely with the various stake holders in the Fire protection team to ensure compliance with local codes and standards. This is a client-facing role and requires a solid technical understanding of Fire and Life Safety principles, and excellent communication & organization skills. In this role, you will demonstrate experience and passion in Code Consulting, Performance Based Design, and  Fire Protection Systems Design Responsibilities  Willing to travels extensively (more than 50%) coordinating inspection schedules with the engineering teams Witness and document testing of fire suppression systems, fire alarms, manual fire suppression equipment, smoke control system and emergency power Conduct visual inspections of fire protection systems, fire alarm system, smoke control system, egress routes, emergency lighting, and life safety provisions Review of the maintenance records of fire and life safety systems Deliver on-site directions to clients ’engineering staff on fire alarm and sprinkler systems Qualifications  4+ years in fire protection system testing and maintenance Experience related to occupancy inspections preferred Fluent in local language (preferred); English and proficiency required Ability to travel across In...
