Come join us for the ride!Role overview CarGurus' Dealer Competitive Intelligence team is seeking a Software Engineer II (Frontend) to drive the next generation of analytics, data products, and dealer-facing experiences. This role offers a wide array of opportunities to build a new dealer-facing product from the ground up. To succeed in this role, you must be able to learn and adapt quickly while collaborating effectively with a cross-functional team. What you'll do Develop and deploy clean, well-tested and efficient code, ensuring high standards of architecture, quality and performance Provide support and improvements to core systems while maintaining high standards for internal stakeholder teams  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts and product managers, to guide projects from concept through technical design, implementation, quality testing, and performance measurement What you'll bring 2-4 years of hands-on software development experience in a professional setting Proficiency in React and Javascript fundamentals Experience or interest in leveraging AI coding tools Practical knowledge of distributed systems and microservice architecture design A strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis The ability to iterate and ship ideas quickly and independently Demonstrates curiosity and a passion for learning new technologies and concepts quickly Proficiency in AWS / AWS Certification preferred Proficiency in Java, SQL is a plus  The displayed range represents the expected annual base salary / On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this position.
