Start date is anticipated for January 4th; an August 2nd start may also be considered.Essential Duties:Instruction (15 credit hours per semester):Teach psychology courses using established course outlines across multiple delivery formatsDevelop and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and assessmentsEvaluate student performance and maintain accurate records in compliance with FERPAHold 10 on-campus office hours per week and maintain regular communication with studentsParticipate in program assessment, curriculum development, and textbook selectionAttend and fulfill all scheduled classes, meetings, and academic responsibilitiesMaintain an on-campus presence averaging 32 hours per weekProfessional Development:Maintain current knowledge in psychology through ongoing professional development and continuing education, including required certificationsService to the College:Advise and support students in achieving academic goalsServe on committees, advisory boards, and participate in campus governanceAttend required meetings, ceremonies, and professional eventsMentor new faculty and contribute to departmental and institutional initiativesPosition may require evening and weekend hoursAdditional duties may be assigned as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the department and collegeRate of pay: determined by faculty scale placement (education and years of experience) *Higher compensation may be considered based on qualifications directly related to positionCompleted applications received by 9/1/2026 will be assured full consideration.
