Massiv Die-Form is proudly committed to manufacture products of the highest quality, reliability, maintainability and durability for the global automotive market through skilled and dedicated people focused on total customer satisfaction, ongoing protection of the environment and the profitable well-being of our company.Hourly Rate: $21.41 - $24.65Vacancy Status: Immediate Open PositionDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Machine set-up/ break downPlace next job in staging area for each machineAssist Machinists through cleaning of work areas/ milling machines/ equipment/ dies, etc.Fill up oil and maintain coolant levels in machines on daily basisResponsible to keep machine shop in a state of cleanlinessEmpty waste oil bins on daily basis5S sustaining dutiesLMS bay cranes pre-start checksAssist with data management and administrative tasks, as required.Complete tasks and assignments as assigned, including material handling with crane and forkliftCommunicate necessary information to Leadhands and co-workers from shift to shiftResponsible to carry out duties for Health, Safety, and Environment in accordance with the HS&E Agreement for Employees - AddendumResponsible for applicable QEMS policies, procedures & work instructionsPerform other reasonable duties as requiredWORKING CONDITIONS:Weekend day shift (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) and overtime required.SPECIFICATIONS AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:Grade 12 education required.Previous shop experience an assetCrane/Forklift experience an asset.Good communication skills, attendance and performance required.Orientation, WHMIS, Crane Training, Forklift Training, Fire Extinguisher Training, 5S, CI Suggestion Program, Waste Disposal Procedures, ISO 9001& ISO14001 training as prescribed by QEMS (see matrixes).Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
