The Division of Seniors Health in the Department of Medicine is seeking a full-time associate. The successful applicant will have an opportunity to work with a highly specialized multi-disciplinary team with a keen focus on seeking to define a centre of excellence for senior’s care. Remuneration is fee-for-service as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees with options to apply under an ongoing alternative funding plan are available.The successful candidate will join the Division of Geriatrics presently staffed by six geriatricians with exciting opportunities for clinical work at a time when innovative re-design and provision of new services are planned or taking place.Accountabilities:Rotation comprises inpatient on-call coverage at Osler’s two acute sites (Brampton Civic Hospital and Etobicoke General Hospital) and outpatient clinic services to six sub-specialized geriatric clinics at Peel MemorialProvide clinical leadership to the Geriatric Outreach Team and the NP led outreach to long-term care homes.About the program:The Seniors Health Program offers comprehensive, person-centred care tailored to adults aged 65+ across Brampton, Etobicoke and surrounding communities.
