The firm is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Remote Personal Injury Paralegal who can confidently manage responsibilities throughout the life cycle of a case while working in a technology-forward, remote environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, communicates effectively, and thrives with minimal supervision. What you’ll do: Case Opening: Open new personal injury files, organize client and incident information, identify insurance coverage and potential defendants, establish case materials, and track important deadlines. Pre-Litigation Case Management: Coordinate insurance communications, monitor medical treatment, obtain supporting documentation, maintain client communication, and help move cases toward settlement. Medical Records & Damages: Request, organize, and review medical records and billing, while preparing medical chronologies, treatment summaries, damages summaries, and supporting documentation. Settlement Demand Preparation: Assemble settlement demand packages containing liability information, medical treatment records, damages documentation, wage loss information, photographs, and lien information. Litigation Support: Assist with pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, deposition preparation, document organization, court deadlines, expert materials, and trial preparation.
