What You’ll Do The Global Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for developing comprehensive supply plans to support commercial forecasts, optimizing inventory positions, contributing to the S&OP process, and supporting supply chain launch readiness efforts for new commercial products. Collaboration with internal and external partners including Commercial demand planning, CMC teams, and CMOs / CPOs will be instrumental in successfully developing a global supply plan that supports market demand and drives supply chain efficiency. Responsibilities Supply Planning Process / Launch Readiness Utilize and optimize existing supply planning tools and processes to drive global supply chain effectiveness Reconcile global supply and demand, collaborate with demand planning to align forecasts Develop an accurate production plan for all key components of the pharmaceutical supply chain (including but not limited to Drug Substance/API, Drug Product, packaging and labeling) Create a Master Production Schedule (MPS) for all suppliers including Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) & Contract Packaging Organizations (CPOs), and support communication of the MPS on a regular basis Determine and adjust safety stock levels for finished goods at the Third-Party Logistics (3PLs) warehouse, achieve inventory targets, and mitigate stock-outs Develop ramp-up supply plans to support new commercial product introductions Work closely with Supply Chain Leads, and vendor management teams (Manufacturing, QA, QC), Logistics, and Procurement to ensure proper execution of the supply plan Support system readiness for launch and market expansion (part number creation, testing, SOP revisions, etc.) Inventory Reconciliation and Reporting Responsible for tracking inventory levels and generating reports to provide insights into inventory performance and identifying areas for i...
