This position is expected to spend a minimum of 80% of working time in operational areas, providing visible leadership, engaging directly with supervisors, crews, contractors, and frontline workers, and verifying that critical controls are effectively implemented and maintained. The role is responsible for providing leadership in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Health, Safety and Environmental systems, programs, and performance. Through active field engagement and collaboration with project leadership, the HSE Supervisor will support the achievement of project objectives, business goals, and regulatory compliance requirements while fostering a strong safety culture and commitment to environmental stewardship. The HSE Supervisor will lead through presence in the workplace, conducting inspections, audits, Critical Control Verifications (CCVs), incident investigations, risk assessments, coaching, and workforce engagement activities. Administrative responsibilities, reporting, and system requirements are an important component of the role; however, field leadership and direct workforce interaction remain the primary focus and key measure of success.
