HR Coordinator

The Lumber Manufactory (TLM) is building the future of sustainable lumber with next-generation sawmill technology. We design and operate state-of-the-art modular sawmills that produce high-grade dimensional wood products with greater efficiency and less waste. TLM is seeking a Site HR Coordinator to be the on-the-ground HR presence for our New Albany, Mississippi mill. This role is the day-to-day point of contact for our production and mill employees, supporting everything from onboarding and performance management to employee relations and compliance. You'll work closely with mill leadership and partner remotely with our Head of People to build out HR programs and processes as TLM scales. This is a hands-on, high-trust role for someone who wants to make a direct, visible impact on the people who run our mill.

Location Statement: This role is based onsite at TLM's New Albany, Mississippi mill and is best suited for candidates who are already local to the area or willing to relocate. Regular presence on the production floor is expected.

In This Role, You Will

- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for hourly and salaried employees at the New Albany mill, building trust and visibility on the production floor.

- Support full-cycle onboarding and offboarding for mill hires, including new hire paperwork and orientation.

- Administer performance review cycles, disciplinary processes, and the safety points system in partnership with production leadership and HR systems (ADP).

- Support day-to-day employee relations, including answering employee questions, addressing concerns, and escalating issues appropriately.
