Human Resources Director

The Human Resources Director has overall responsibility for the Company’s Human Resources, People Development, Pay & Benefits department. As a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), the HRD contributes to the overall business strategy and ensures that all of the departments are aligned to delivering the company strategy. The HRD should always proactively drive our culture and advise the board on any HR implications. Driving and enhancing our employee brand and ensuring that all our staff experience an industry leading employee experience. Key Responsibilities: Promote Securitas and the brand through networking both in the industry and in HR and L&D conferences. Contribute to the overall running of the Company as a member of the Senior Management Team. Provide counsel to other members of the SMT on HR matters and developments with HR implications. Set strategic direction of the combined function in collaboration with key team members whilst ensuring that the day to day HR operations meets the needs of the business in a very efficient manner. Drive the Securitas culture and values through the business. Lead the HR & L&D teams inspirationally and ensure that all standards and compliance measures are upheld. Ensure that the Learning and Development programmes are suitable for our business. Predict future skill needs and ensure that there is a strategic plan in place to develop our own people. Align the HR and L&D strategy to dove tail the company business plan and have a full commercial understanding of the impact of HR on the wider business result. Continually measure and improve the impact of HR and L&D on the business results. Drive change and transformation at pace as required by the business. Understand the importance and drive shared services with clear KPIS and efficiency through the business. Build excellent and proactive relationships with the recognised trade union Any other duties as directed by the Country President.
