It's exciting times to be at stow!Location: Adairsville, GA The Incoming Inspector is responsible for quality inspection of incoming and shipping goods and sharing knowledge among all employees across the different production departments at stow. The role supports the Q&E system and ensures compliance with agreements, standards, and procedures. Motivate and ensure that all incoming parts are in accordance with stow QSHE standards. Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner. Promote a Lean mindset and continuous improvement. Ensure that all activities and processes comply with QSHE standards, policies, work instructions, and local legislationDaily Quality control of receiving goods according to the blueprint and recording it. Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment including: - Digital and dial calipers - Micrometers - Tape measures - Height gauges - Combination squares - Go/No-Go gauges Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials. Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records. Work with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and suppliers to resolve quality issues. Maintain calibration awareness of inspection equipment. Quality and quantity checks of shipping goods. Support Quality Specialist with sorts of suspect materials Report (send to the Incoming Operator & Quality Specialist colleague and the Quality Department Manager). Monitoring controls in case of non-conformities:Draft an internal complaint in case of non-conformities / NCRs. In case of non-conformities, pass on the necessary information to the Quality Administrator. Measurement equipment inventory and calibration: Prepare an inventory of measuring tools → calibration.
