At Apex, you don’t just join a company, you help shape what comes next.  Your Responsibilities as an Industrial Hygienist: Collect building material, air, and noise samples. Gather, analyze, and interpret data.  Input data into template reports. Perform asbestos inspections, including:  Asbestos sampling  Asbestos abatement project oversight  Perform lead-based paint inspections, including:  Lead sampling  Clearance testing  Conduct water intrusion and mold assessments, including:  Moisture mapping  Visible suspect biological growth assessments Mold sampling and clearance protocols  Follow written scopes of work and take detailed field notes.  Prepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive work-performed reports using established templates and guidance.  Ensure safe work practices are followed on all project sites.  What we're looking for: BA/BS in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field  Certified Asbestos Building Inspector (CABI) – required  Colorado Air Monitoring Specialist (AMS) – strongly preferred  1–5 years of relevant industrial hygiene or environmental consulting experience preferred.  Ability to work efficiently under general oversight from a Senior Industrial Hygiene professional.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, clients, and project teams.  Demonstrated ability to draft concise, detailed, and accurate work-performed reports.  Experience with asbestos, mold, and lead sampling.  Working knowledge of applicable OSHA, EPA, and Colorado state regulations.  Interest in professional growth through additional certifications, continuing education, and cross-training (e.g., compliance audits, Phase I ESAs, stormwater i...
