Insurance Coordinator
Our office, Georgia Endodontics - Duluth, is seeking an Insurance Coordinator to join our busy specialty practice. As an Insurance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the maximum benefits from their insurance coverage while delivering exceptional patient experiences. Your Responsibilities: Verify patients' dental insurance coverage and benefits. Communicate with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations for treatments. Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and estimated costs. Submit accurate and timely insurance claims electronically and via mail. Follow up on outstanding insurance claims, appeals, and denials. Manage Patient Balances (AR) Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental insurance policies and industry changes. Collaborate with the front desk and clinical teams to ensure accurate patient information and treatment codes. Provide excellent customer service by addressing insurance-related inquiries and concerns. Educate patients on available payment options for uncovered services. As one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed. We are currently seeking a Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth insurance operations for our patients. As a vital part of our practice, you will be responsible for managing insurance claims, facilitating billing processes, and providing top-notch support to our patients regarding their insurance-related inquiries. You also have the following: At least 3+ years of experience with insurance posting and as a front office representative High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. Proficiency in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving skills to navigate insurance claim discrepancies and denials. High level of professionalism and a patient-centric attitude. Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
