About the Role

As a Software Engineer III, you will deliver production-quality software for well-defined components and features within a product or service. Working with guidance from senior engineers, you will contribute to secure, maintainable, and reliable systems while helping improve engineering quality, operational excellence, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Produce clear technical documentation using the process for technical decision making and RX architectural principles.
  • Build software with foundations in performance, resilience, extensibility, and security following Secure SDLC.
  • Apply testing strategies that support deployment confidence and align with the Service and Operational agreements.
  • Contribute to incremental improvements to code quality, testing, or development workflows.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and participate actively in peer code reviews.
  • Support the operational health of services and components, including monitoring, diagnostics, incident response, and service reliability.
  • Maintain runbooks, documentation, and operational knowledge for owned components while contributing to reducing technical debt.
  • Share knowledge with peers and support the onboarding or mentoring of junior engineers where appropriate.

Requirements

  • Experienced professional software engineer.
  • Proficient in C# (.NET), JavaScript/TypeScript (React), and SQL (PostgreSQL).
  • Experience working in Agile cross-functional product development teams.
  • Experience translating ambiguous requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Working knowledge of SOLID, design patterns, API design, DDD, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience building modern web applications with React, Vite, REST, and GraphQL.
  • Experience developing cloud-native applications on AWS; applying testing, DevSecOps, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and Secure SDLC practices; working with observability and analytics tools such as Splunk and Mixpanel
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Bedrock, and agentic AI workflows.
