The team works closely with internal customers and external partners to advance Micron’s policy priorities in key regions.As a Policy Communications Intern, you will play an active role in supporting the execution of Micron’s global policy communications strategy. This internship offers hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, event monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration, all aimed at advancing Micron’s policy objectives.ResponsibilitiesSupport the implementation of global policy communications strategies across integrated channelsDraft communications materials including quotes, press releases, and messaging briefsManage and create content for the @MicronPolicy X account to meet engagement goalsAttend and summarize congressional hearings and think tank events related to semiconductor and national security issuesMonitor policy activities and industry news to identify engagement opportunitiesCollaborate with global communications, marketing, and digital teams to amplify narrativesCopy edit and format internal and external communications productsMinimum QualificationsStrong interest or experience in government, technology, defense, or semiconductor-related industriesExcellent attention to detail and analytical skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-starter with a can-do attitude and eagerness to learnAI proficiency with LLMs or AI‑enabled ways of working where applicablePreferred QualificationsExperience in communications, public affairs, or policy-related rolesFamiliarity with social media strategy and content creationAbility to summarize complex policy topics for diverse audiencesDemonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasksExperience with copy editing and formatting professional communicationsThe US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:$37.91 - $37.91 an hourAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
