Job Description SummaryUses limited knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to source and manage the development and promotion of charitable giving strategies and philanthropic services for current and prospective clients and financial advisors. Assists with strategic marketing direction and creates tactical plans with substantial latitude for semi-reviewed actions or decisions. Provides comprehensive solutions to client philanthropic needs. Extensive contact with internal and external clients, nonprofit partners, potential collaborators, and senior-level management is required.Job DescriptionEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinates with the assigned external Trust Consultant to develop a business plan that will achieve assigned goals related to charitable giving and philanthropic engagement.Assists in supporting targeted outreach campaigns through proactive calls (telephone/video) to Financial Advisors to raise awareness of Raymond James Charitable and drive new opportunities in donor-advised funds, charitable trusts, private foundations and other philanthropic vehicles.Manages the intake and development process for new charitable giving opportunities within the assigned region, including preparation and assembly of documentation for internal review.Responds to requests from Financial Advisors seeking support in presenting charitable solutions to clients and acts as a centralized resource for information related to Raymond James Charitable services.Schedules appointments and manages follow-up communications with advisors and clients.Reviews charitable giving instruments (e.g., donor-advised funds, charitable remainder trusts) to assess suitability and alignment with Raymond James Trust and Raymond James Charitable’s capabilities.Establishes objectives and develops processes and procedures to ensure efficient and timely workflow in charitable service delivery.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Knowledge ofIRS charitable giving rules, estate and gift tax implications, and relevant nonprofit regulations.Advanced concepts and practices of philanthropic planning and charitable trust administration.Fundamental investment concepts and financial planning strategies related to charitable giving.Principles of nonprofit finance and charitable organization operations.Financial markets, products, and the advisory process as it relates to philanthropy.IRS charitable giving rules, estate and gift tax implications, and relevant nonprofit regulations.Advanced concepts and practices of philanthropic planning and charitable trust administration.Skill inBuilding and maintaining effective relationships with internal teams and external nonprofit partners.Communicating complex charitable strategies clearly and effectively.Demonstrating ethical integrity and a client-first mindset.Using standard office equipment and learning software applications, including donor management and charitable planning tools.Building and...
