This position will be based in our White Plains office (hybrid). The IT Asset Coordinator is responsible for supporting the technology asset lifecycle as well as financial and vendor processes for the IT department Firmwide.Responsible for administration of the Firm Provided Technology Program.Day-to-day responsibility for technology purchases for U.S. offices.Day-to-day responsibility for administration and monitoring of shared drives.Assists in maintaining technology inventory systems.Monitors inventory systems to identify noncompliant hardware and software.Knowledge of quoting, ordering and billing processes including tax considerations.Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.Manages Firm resources responsibly.Complies with and understands Firm operation, policies and procedures.Performs other related duties as assigned.QualificationsKnowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)Familiarity with enterprise technology hardware, networking, and softwareDemonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writingDemonstrates close attention to detailExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skillsAbility to handle multiple projects and shifting prioritiesAbility to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentialityAbility to organize and prioritize workAbility to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environmentAbility to work well independently as well as effectively within a teamAbility to use discretion and exercise independent and sound judgmentFlexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needsEducation and Experience Associate’s degree or two years’ relevant experienceTwo years of enterprise technology experienceCulture & Life at SkaddenWhat makes Skadden special is our people and the culture, community and spirit of collaboration we have created.
