What can we offer you?Apart from job satisfaction, we can offer you:YOURSELF25 days’ holiday (with the option to buy more)HEALTHPrivate HealthcareOptional dental insurance, health assessments and health cash plansCycle to Work schemeWEALTHCompany Pension Scheme, matching contributions up to 5% of salaryLife assuranceAnnual staff bonus schemeSeason ticket loansJob PurposeAs IT Team Leader at our state-of-the-art radiopharmaceutical production and clinical trial imaging facility in Hammersmith, West London, you'll play a prominent part in delivering business value through IT projects.Acting as 'player-manager' within our small, supportive onsite team, you'll be expected to collaborate with a broad cross-section of stakeholders locally and other peers in our US operation to support the Discovery IT strategy and ensure the day-to-day delivery of all on-site activities.Quality and compliance are at the heart of our business and, as the key interface with the Quality team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that IT processes and systems adhere to the relevant Quality (GxP/GCP) standards.Key ResponsibilitiesIT Service ManagementEnsure team adherence to Service Level Agreements by monitoring metrics against agreed KPIsEnsure all IT services remain operational and available for all aspects of the site.Oversee assignments and tasks of team membersProject ManagementCreate, monitor, and deliver IT projects based on business and site needs.Consult with business stakeholders to ensure project success.Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and complete.Proactively review the equipment and services supporting the clinical and pre-clinical business to reduce risk rather than address issues. Quality & Risk ManagementEnsure adherence to quality processes and procedures.Creation/maintenance of IT processesManage and track all risks in the risk register with proper follow up actionsBudget controlMonitor and report on site IT expenditure.Make capital expenditure recommendations.Input to financial forecasting' Team ManagementAllocate and prioritize workload across team members.Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvementEnsure timesheets are completed every month with adequate level of detailFunctional Competencies (Technical knowledge/Skills)In-depth technical knowledge of Networking and Virtualisation technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)Broad understanding of Microsoft 365 servicesProficient in backup technologies (Veeam/Acronis)Proficient in Cloud technologies (AWS ideally/Azure)Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning.Ability to manage a small, established team, delegating effectively, driving standards and motivating, developing and coordinating the work of team members.Driven and enthusiastic, able to manage multiple and varied tasks and prioritize own wo...
