In the role as JDM Development Manager in our DC Front Line Worker (DC FLW) team you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer.As a JDM Development Manager, you will own GN's JDM operating model and drive supplier capability, engineering governance, and process excellence across the organization. You will work with cross-functional teams and strategic suppliers to ensure consistent JDM execution throughout the product development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:1. JDM Strategy & ExecutionOwn the JDM engagement model across multiple programs.Ensure consistent execution of the JDM operating model.Support supplier selection through technical assessments and governance.Drive adoption of JDM methodologies and best practices across engineering teams.2. Supplier Assessment & DevelopmentLead supplier capability assessments and technical due diligence.Maintain supplier assessment methodologies, evaluation criteria, and scorecards.Support supplier selection and qualification.Drive supplier capability planning and development.Support strategic supplier planning aligned with GN product roadmaps.3. Supplier Capability & EngagementLead engineering engagement with JDM suppliers.Assess supplier performance and execution maturity.Drive supplier capability improvement through structured feedback and follow-up.Build strategic partnerships with key JDM suppliers.4. JDM ExcellenceStandardize JDM processes, governance, and best practices.Maintain JDM readiness criteria, governance tools, and supporting documentation.Coach engineering and project teams on JDM methodologies.Maintain JDM training materials and promote knowledge sharing.Drive continuous improvement across the JDM organization.To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.8+ years of experience in consumer electronics or related industries.Experience working with ODM, OEM, EMS, or JDM partners.Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle from concept to mass production.Experience improving engineering processes and governance.Experience conducting supplier capability assessments or technical due diligence.Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.Fluent in English (written and spoken), with excellent communication and documentation skills.Are able and willing to travel internationally, as required (approximately 10–20%).We encourage you to applyEven if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we welcome your application if you think you have transferrable skills.
