Junior Enterprise Mobile Radio Network Engineer
We’re looking for a Junior Enterprise Mobile Radio Network Engineer to join us at Telia.I am Ramūnas Mikalauskas, Head of Radio Access Network. I am leading a team at Telia Lietuva, and I am looking to bring in a motivated student or recent graduate to help us out with all the exciting work we do!Our RAN team specializes in planning, deploying, and optimizing high-performance radio networks to ensure seamless coverage, capacity, and connectivity.What you’ll do:While our standard RAN teams focus on wide-scale public connectivity, you will step into the innovative world of Private Mobile Radio Networks. Working alongside senior experts, you will learn how to design and build bespoke, mission-critical enterprise solutions (5G/4G) tailored for industrial automation, smart ports, and logistics. This is your chance to bridge the gap between university theory and real-world engineering.Learn & Design: Assist in planning tailored private 4G/5G radio architectures to meet specific client requirements for coverage and reliability.Support Deployment: Participate in the deployment and optimization of end-to-end radio solutions, tracking high-performance KPIs within complex industrial environments.Analyze & Document: Help translate client operational needs into technical RAN specifications and maintain technical documentation.Innovate: Bring fresh ideas and a curious mindset to help improve network efficiency, interference management, and testing processes.What will help you thrive in this role:Educational Background: You are currently studying Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM field.Theoretical Foundation: A solid basic understanding of mobile network architecture (4G/5G) and radio wave propagation principles.Curiosity & Drive: A strong desire to learn, experiment, and grow into an expert in the private network sector.Communication Skills: You are a proactive team player who can explain technical ideas clearly.Languages: Fluency in Lithuanian and good English skills (both written and spoken).Bonus points (but not mandatory): If you’ve already played around with basic network simulation tools, radio software, or did a university project related to wireless technologies.Join us to shape smarter living for people, businesses, and the planetAt Telia, we’re a team of 15,000 colleagues across the Nordics and Baltics, passionate about technology and connectivity.
