This role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of the installation. The Laborer performs a variety of manual tasks including material handling, refuse collection, snow removal, and general facility support.Typical duties include but are not limited to: Assist skilled trades personnel (e.g., electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with tools, materials, and basic tasks.  Perform general maintenance such as cleaning, debris removal, and site preparation.  Load, unload, and transport materials, equipment, and supplies across the installation.  Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision.  Load and unload trucks and other conveyances; move supplies and materials.  Dig, fill, and tamp earth excavations; level ground using hand tools such as picks, shovels, tampers, and rakes.  Shovel concrete and snow; spread sand and deicer on icy roads and walkways.  Clean culverts, ditches, roofs, and gutters to maintain drainage and safety.  Support road patching and minor repair activities as directed.  Empty outdoor trash cans and cigarette disposal containers; remove litter and debris from designated areas.  Respond to work orders and assist with setup or teardown for base events or facility changes.  Assist with customer requests such as staging chairs and lighting for events, and disposing of used pallets and packing materials.  Maintain work areas ...
