IntroductionThe Legal Corporate & ESG team in Veldhoven is part of ASML’s Legal & Compliance department and collaborates with legal professionals across the globe. The team provides legal guidance on corporate matters and supports ASML’s sustainability ambitions by helping the organization understand and respond to evolving environmental, social, and governance (ESG) requirements. In this internship, you will contribute to interpreting new regulations, supporting business stakeholders, and helping translate legal developments into practical solutions. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of law, sustainability, and innovation. Your assignmentAs part of this internship, you will support the team in navigating the rapidly changing ESG regulatory landscape. You will work closely with legal professionals and business stakeholders while contributing to both strategic and operational activities. Your work will help improve understanding of ESG obligations and support effective implementation across the organization.Your main responsibilities will be:Monitor and analyze emerging ESG legislation and regulatory developmentsTranslate legal developments into practical and actionable guidanceSupport stakeholders in understanding the impact of regulatory changesContribute to legal advice on sustainability-related topics and obligationsAssist in coordinating ESG projects and stakeholder activitiesPrepare stakeholder updates, summaries, and project documentationDraft agreements supporting community and sustainability initiativesThis is a master internship (non-thesis) for minimum 6 months, 4-5 days per week (3-4 days on-site).
