Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.Great American Financial Institution Services specializes in providing risk management and product enhancement programs to vehicle lenders and lessors, commercial equipment lenders, auto dealers and mortgage lenders throughout the U.S. and Canada. Target clients include commercial banks, credit unions, finance companies, buy-here pay-here dealers and leasing and rental concerns. Great American’s culture is built on connection, shared learning, and strong relationships. To support this, employees in this role are expected to be onsite four days a week, with the flexibility to work one day remotely. Core in-office days are Tuesday–Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs. Essential Job Functions and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for performing, coordinating, and leading the day-to-day activities of employees performing policy administration tasks:Prioritizes daily workload and delegates assignments in a manner to ensure accurate and timely completion.Reviews completed assignments.Ensures accuracy, timeliness and quality of work, and recommends improvements to processes and procedures. Maintains knowledge of state specific policy endorsements and requirements.Performs a variety of policy administration tasks in support of the business.Utilizes computerized systems for research, tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting (i.e., Heavy use of Excel/Word programs, legacy systems, internal systems, third party vendor delivered systems, etc.).Shares and/or conveys complex information via telephone, e-mail, fax, regular mail, or in person to underwriters, agents, brokers, reinsurers, and/or insureds maintaining a professional demeanor in all situations.Participates in other departmental processes/projects, such as changes/enhancements to forms and screens, user acceptance testing for systems and policies, and reviewing impact to current policies / practices.Acts as a liaison with other departments and facilitate interdepartmental communicationMay have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regardin...
