LEAD Material Handler - Full Time - LUM Dpt. - (Monday to Friday 11AM Start)

Job DescriptionMcKesson is seeking a dynamic and engaging individual for our “Material Handler Lead” role. If you are passionate about inspiring, motivating and assisting our team members, this opportunity could further enhance our journey and we want to hear from you.  Day to day you will be helping our team improve on the overall process of the building and the individual team member.  From day one, you will be able to create a positive culture for the entire DC, that reinforces our McKesson values. Our DC delivers top-notch service to our customers while also achieving performance standards and metrics as our daily goal. Schedule:Monday – Friday – 11 am shift start until all work is complete Location:Tempe, AZ - Fully on site Key responsibilities Prepare and conduct team meetings, training sessions, and other events to communicate clear goals to your team.Aid in supervising the day to day operations of the department ensuring that customer expectations and performance metrics are met or exceeded.Throughput the LUM (Low Unit of Measure) processing, productivity, accuracy standards and overall departmental operational functionality.Use various systems to clear errors and issues.Train employees in outbound functions according to Company procedures.Monitor work for outbound operations and achieve all objectives while striving to proactively communicate improvement goals.Maintain accurate inventory levels and meet compliance controls.  Ability to use and train on RF equipment.Crosstrain in all outbound processes.Ability to operate Power Industrial Equipment is a plus (i.e., Order Pick, Stand-up Forklift, Reach Truck, Walkie Rider.)      Supports other activities and projects as assigned by management.Keep warehouse area clean, neat and organized Minimum Requirements Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.Good communication skills with the ability to speak with individuals to clearly explain each process effectivelyPassion and commitment to the success of our team and individualsStrong verbal and written communication skillsHigh degree of flexibility needed, in order to meet challenges of working in a high intensity environment with constantly changing prioritiesMust be capable of working independently and self-directed with minimal oversight from managementGood critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skillsMust be able to operate the Power Industrial Equipment as needed and maintain appropriate certification.  (I.e., Order Pick, Stand-up Forklift, Reach Truck, Walkie Rider.)                                                            &nb...
