Working in close partnership with investment, finance, risk and operational teams, the team enables commercially sound decision-making while ensuring appropriate governance and risk management. Role Summary As Legal Counsel, you will be a trusted adviser to Triple Point’s Private Credit business. You will play a central role in structuring, negotiating and executing a broad range of lending and financing transactions. Working closely with Origination, Credit, Portfolio Management, Finance and senior stakeholders, you will provide commercially focused legal advice that enables informed investment decisions, protects investor capital and supports the continued growth of Private Credit. The role provides exposure across SME Debt Finance, Corporate Lending, Property Development Finance, Specialty Finance and Funds Finance, supporting new originations, refinancings, restructurings and portfolio management throughout the lending lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Transaction Execution & Advisory Act as a trusted legal adviser throughout the transaction lifecycle, from origination through to execution and completion. Draft, negotiate and execute facility agreements, intercreditor agreements, security documentation and guarantees. Review and advise on ancillary legal documentation, including sale and purchase agreements, hold harmless letters and non-disclosure agreements. Review and negotiate acquisition finance and refinancing documentation. Portfolio Management & Ongoing Lending Draft and negotiate amendments, waivers, consents, covenant resets, reservation of rights letters, security releases and restructuring documentation. Support refinancings, restructurings, recoveries and enforcement strategies where appropriate. Risk Management & Governance Identify, communicate and manage legal and commercial risks in a practical, solutions-focused manner.
