This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and up time of automated production equipment across multiple functional areas.The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience in electromechanical systems, automation, and troubleshooting, and is capable of working independently to diagnose and resolve issues. This technician will also play a key role in preventive maintenance programs, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and production teams.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform intermediate-level troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system failures, using systematic diagnostic techniques to identify root causes.Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring equipment operates within manufacturer specifications and company standards.Conduct precision mechanical alignments and adjustments, including conveyors, pick-and-place systems, robotics, and other automated equipment.Support and perform equipment calibrations, ensuring accuracy, repeatability, and compliance with quality requirements.Collaborate with Manufacturing and Process Engineers to implement process improvements, equipment upgrades, and efficiency initiatives.Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation, including work orders, parts usage, and equipment history.Support production uptime and yield goals, responding quickly to equipment downtime and minimizing impact to operations.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying trends in failures and recommending proactive maintenance strategies.Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards, ESD requirements, and company policies.QualificationsBasic Qualifications5–10 years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or related technical field.Strong knowledge of:Electrical systems (motors, sensors, PLC basics)Mechanical systems (bearings, belts, gearboxes)Pneumatics and basic hydraulicsAutomated production equipmentProven ability to perform independent troubleshooting and repairs on complex equipment.Experience executing preventive maintenance programs and interpreting maintenance schedules.Ability to read and interpret:Electrical schematicsMechanical drawingsEquipment manuals and technical documentationExperience working in a production environment, supporting up time and respond...
