Role Overview:
The requirement is for experienced Mainframe Developers to support application development, enhancements, and production support activities on Cigna's transactional platforms.
Primary Skill Requirements:
Mainframe – 60% (Core development and platform support)
ETL – 30% (Data movement and integration)
SQL – 10% (Strong SQL knowledge and hands-on experience)
Technical Environment:
Mainframe platform
Transactional systems
PostgreSQL and other databases
ETL processes
SQL for reporting and data validation
Key Responsibilities:
Application development and enhancement on Mainframe platform.
Work on data movement from Mainframe to PostgreSQL/SQL databases.
Develop and support ETL processes.
Perform reporting and data-related activities.
Provide production support, including participation in on-call rotation.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong Mainframe development experience.
Hands-on SQL knowledge.
ETL development/support experience.
Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
Production support and on-call support experience.
