You will own preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies for automated production systems, helping ensure safe, stable, and cost-effective operations. This role gives you the opportunity to work closely with Manufacturing, Controls, and Maintenance teams to reduce downtime, extend asset life, and support Axon’s continued production scaling. What You’ll Do Location: Onsite at our Phoenix, AZ Pinnacle office or our Mesa, AZ Skybridge facilityReports to: Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering - Assets ReliabilityDirect Reports: None Improve reliability of automated manufacturing equipment, including robots, PLC-controlled machines, conveyors, vision systems, and material handling equipment. Lead root cause analysis for recurring failures, downtime events, and chronic equipment issues, and implement corrective actions to reduce repeat failures and improve MTBF. Design, optimize, and sustain preventive and predictive maintenance programs aligned to equipment criticality and production needs. Analyze maintenance data, downtime trends, MTTR, MTBF, maintenance cost, and equipment availability to refine maintenance intervals and improve task effectiveness.
