Employment Status:Full timeShift:Day (United States of America)Facility:1906 Belleview Ave SE - RoanokeRequisition Number:R159356 MAINTENANCE OPS SPECIALIST (Open) How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare: Partners with the Maintenance leadership team on the core area of regulatory and compliance, as well as key workflow functions and operational support. Acts as a lead team member in the areas of compliance, reporting, traffic flow and quality. Provides guidance on interpretation of codes, regulations and guidelines, including all document retention requirements. Facilitates vendor relationships, including scheduling, review of pertinent contract data points, status updates and interactions with legal for new contracts and addendums to existing ones. Maintain the Meditract database descriptions. Develop and generate reports as needed. Partner with management team in creation and revision of department policies. Manage competency/training schedule for employees. Partner with management team to ensure that all employees maintain active competencies. Oversees the traffic flow of departmental projects, ensuring efficient and effective processes and outcomes. Leads quality control inspections and acts as the main point of contact for customer relations, including initial troubleshooting for concerns. Facilitates departmental communication for information and updates on projects, training and shutdowns. Creates and issues required notifications for shut downs per organizational and regulatory requirements. Acts as a part of the project team for various initiatives; leads project teams focused on improving workflow processing time and outcomes. Develops, updates and maintains a searchable Access database for all files and binders. Ensures that all documents are retrievable in a timely manner when needed. Maintains department drawings and documents, specifications, regulatory reports and other document compliance within this central system. Maintain departmental budget for projects and expenses, including bills/payments and utility spreadsheets. Create and maintain job aids for Meditract, processes and information. Create master monthly report for the department. Ensure Kronos for the department is up-to-date and appropriately logged. What We Require: Education: Associates degree required. Experience: Three years of business, healthcare or maintenance experience required. Experience with compliance highly desirable. Knowledge of maintenance systems preferred. CAD experience preferred. Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Valid Virginia drivers license required. Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective communication and problem solving skills required. Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines successfully. Intermediate to advanced skills with the Microsoft Office suite and experience with database applications required.
