Are you ready to make a difference?Job SummaryAs a manager of disability benefits you’ll supervise a section of personnel and activities to ensure timely, accurate and thoroughly investigated disability decisions and ongoing management of claim liability, benefit payments, taxation of benefits, deductible income pursuit and reserve data.Supervise section personnel for claim decisions on new and continuing disability claims, customer service, management of policyholder accounts, and other customer needs.Implement intervention and reporting strategies in response to sales, marketing and client needs and claim trendsPromote effective working relationships with Group Sales and Marketing, Special Accounts, Underwriting, and other operating units to install, service and retain existing accounts and contribute to the sale of new accounts.    Skills and Background You’ll NeedEducation:  Degree in  Science, Business or related field is highly preferred.
