Manager, Field Sales (Ohio Residency is Required)
Job Summary:The Manager, Field Sales is responsible for leading and overseeing a team of sales representatives operating in the field to achieve enrollment targets and drive business growth. The Manager will analyze market trends, monitor team performance, provide coaching and training, and collaborate closely with other departments to align sales efforts with overall company objectives.Essential Functions:Collaborate with product owners to develop attractive and differentiated benefit designs. Maintain all structure and process necessary to assure impeccable regulatory record, achievement of sales growth goals and consistency for Medicare. Ensure that organization operations are in alignment with the company's strategic objectives, leverages talent and resources, and champions a collaborative and integrative work environment. Collaborate with internal teams for annual training/recognition meetings. Identify and develop opportunities for information sharing and communication. Support in the development of new growth and retention strategies, resource planning, market analysis/targeting. Collaborate with Marketing for advertising/materials support to assure achievement of growth goals. Oversee and conduct presentations, marketing activities and other educational events in accordance with current approved communication and marketing programs and state/federal regulations. Develop community outreach strategies and programs with guidance from internal departments and staff while adhering to all applicable state and federal regulatory requirements. Oversee and drive Sales Results for Field Agents and in collaboration with Community Marketing Team. Analyze Microsoft CRM Dynamics for adherence to activity metrics. Serve as a subject matter expert on CareSource’s Medicare product line, Medicare, and industry insights. Conduct performance management activities for direct reports, to include one-on-one meetings, performance appraisals, and performance management as appropriate. Perform agent ride-along and documentation.Performs any other job related duties as requested.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in marketing or other related field required Equivalent years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of required educationFive (5) years of experience in Medicare sales experience required Three (3) years of previous management/leadership experience required Previous experience in a service, sales, product, or consulting environment preferred Previous experience in consultative selling in complex decision-making processes preferred Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge in the use of Relationship Management tools (“CRM”) system.
