This newly created position will be part of a growing Procurement & Strategic Sourcing team and support Amylyx’s Procurement Operations function. Reporting into the Sr. Director, Procurement & Strategic Sourcing, the ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills as well as previous experience in a global commercial life sciences organization. We anticipate hiring the Manager, Procurement Operations in September 2026. Responsibilities Executes the Purchase Order Management process for services and goods, including training and supporting internal stakeholders, issuing Purchase Orders to service providers and suppliers, tracking order status, resolving invoice discrepancies, and closing out Purchase Orders. Owns the new service provider/supplier set-up and supplier master data maintenance process Drives continuous improvement efforts in the Procure to Pay (P2P) process and implements solutions to streamline and enhance efficiency, accuracy, and appropriate approvals Supports report generation and Purchasing data analysis Oversees training documentation and communication of Procurement policies, processes and practices to educate business partners Ensures compliance with Amylyx policies and procedures as well as adherence to SOX controls Performs other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 3–5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on sourcing and purchasing services. Experience working within a GxP-regulated environment is highly desirable.
