You will provide manufacturing engineering knowledge to product innovation processes for new product designs and develop new equipment as well as supporting the plants to run the current machinery in the best way.The position will be based in our EMEA Headquarters location in Hannover, Germany.What you will doAs Manufacturing Engineer Central (m/f/d), your responsibilities will include:Overall responsibility for assigned series production processes, machinery, and tooling across the organizationCreating and defining detailed specifications and Statements of Work (SOW) for manufacturing equipment and toolingLeading equipment- and tooling-related projects with full responsibility for output, timing, and budget, including:Driving make-or-buy decisions in close collaboration with key stakeholders.Leading supplier selection and managing suppliers from concept and design phase through series productionCoordinating on-site installation, commissioning, acceptance, and handover in the plants in cooperation with Operations and suppliersEnsuring complete and compliant documentation of machinery, including CE-related documentation, CAD data, electrical schematics, and administrative records in the ME databaseDeveloping and optimizing assigned processes, machinery, and tooling to support new product introductions, quality improvements, performance enhancements, and maintenance requirements, including design and process validation buildsSupporting production sites in optimization projects for existing machinery, processes, and tooling to improve efficiency, quality, and reliabilityDefining and implementing global standards for assigned processes, machinery, and tooling in collaboration with global Manufacturing Engineering counterpartsReport and collaborate related to professional and project subjects to key stakeholders as other ME regions, Operations, Product Engineering, Quality, Process Engineering, Program Management, Purchasing, LogisticsRepresent related topics in multi-functional project teamsManufacture feasibility analysis (DFA/DFM) and PFMEAsWhat makes you a good fitEngineering or technician degree ideally in mechanical, mechatronic or production engineering or comparable qualificationsMinimum...
