Please visit our website: www.turnerandtownsend.com Support end-to-end mechanical engineering activities for data center construction projects from design through commissioning.Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure mechanical deliverables meet project requirements and design intent.Review technical drawings, specifications, shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions for mechanical systems.Monitor site progress, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project standards.Provide technical expertise in HVAC, chilled water, CRAC/CRAH, ventilation, cooling systems, and fire suppression systems.Identify, evaluate, and resolve mechanical engineering issues and recommend corrective actions.Support testing and commissioning (T&C) activities and verify system performance against design criteria.Coordinate with electrical and controls teams to ensure successful MEP systems integration.Assist the Project Manager in tracking project schedules, milestones, risks, and work progress.Review contractor work progress, variations, and change requests while supporting cost control activities.Prepare and maintain project documentation, site reports, inspection records, and change logs.Ensure all mechanical works comply with local regulations, safety requirements, environmental standards, and data center best practices.Collaborate with QA/QC teams to maintain high standards of workmanship and project delivery. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.3-7 years of engineering experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial plants, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or large commercial construction projects.Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, cooling, ventilation, and fire protection systems.Experience in design review, contractor coordination, construction supervision, and testing & commissioning activities.Strong understanding of MEP systems integration and construction sequencing.Experience reviewing ...
