MICRO-SERVICES ARCHITECT Job Type: Proposal Future Job Opportunity Location: Fully Remote Who we are: Horizon Industries Limited (Horizon) is a dynamic IT and Management Consulting firm based in the Washington, DC area. Our ideal candidate will have the following expertise: Reviews existing solutions with development team to identify proper restructure into micro-services model utilizing best industry best practices. Facilitates the development of new software solutions into microservices model utilizing best industry best practices. Develops and sustains microservices factory utilizing COTS and open source solutions to automate the creation, deployment, and management CI/CD pipeline. Minimum Experience: Five (5) years relevant experience. Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) to support Low-Code/No-Code Development Platform models with a focus on micro-services. Experience using low-code/no-code business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools. Experience developing application/process automation software based on BPMN models, experience using software tools such as Appian, Salesforce, Nintex, etc. with Microsoft SQL Server databases and Microsoft .NET development environment. Required Skills: Certification: Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority. Investigative Requirement: Secret clearance. Remote Work Environment: This position is performed in a 100% remote, collaborative environment supporting government development activities. The employee will work closely with Task Order Project Manager, Requirements Analysts, Scrum Master, Developers, Testers, and Government stakeholders through virtual meetings and Agile ceremonies. Employees must maintain a secure remote workspace, use government-approved systems and security controls, and comply with all cybersecurity and data protection requirements, including Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Regular availability during standard business hours is required to support team collaboration, customer meetings, and project deliverables.
