Apply today!Job Details This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.Job Title: Multi Drop Van DriverLocation: ExeterHours per week: 48hrs M/T/W/TH/F and Sat morningsSalary: £35,642.88Job SummaryTo ensure the speedy, efficient, and accurate delivery of pharmaceuticals to pharmacies and hospitals.Key ResponsibilitiesTo maintain a safe a competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and other traffic signs and giving due regard to other road users.To have a daily check to ensure that your vehicle is in a roadworthy condition including a check of the lights, brakes, coolant, etc.To report any faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays.To maintain the internal and external condition of the vehicle together with the cleanliness of the vehicle.To ensure sufficient quantities of fuel have been taken for the day's work.To maintain the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times.To check all orders shown on the drop sheets and ensure all orders are loaded on the vehicle.To collect goods returned for credit, mail, delivery bins and their safe return to the branch at times instructed by the branch management.Ensure damages/breakages are dealt with promptly and correctly with due regard to special procedures for HazChems.To help maintain good customer relations.To be involved in other duties including warehouse tasks as defined by the Management..Skills Knowledge and Experience required:EssentialA full driving license must be held relevant to the vehicle being drivenWhilst we do not ask for a clean license, we will assess the risk of employing applicants who have points on their license, and this may affect our decision to shortlistExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent Customer careIntermediate Numeracy and Literacy​DesirablePrevious experience of multi-drop delivery driving is highly desirableRoute planning experience​BenefitsContributory Pension SchemePerks at Work (Discounts on top brands)Employee Assistance Programme20 days’ holiday + bank holidays, increasing with service lengthWhat Cencora offers​Benefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice.
