This position requires working five days per week, handling inbound telephone calls related to medical malpractice and nursing home claims. Our clients are often navigating traumatic and emotionally difficult situations, and Nurse Intake Specialists serve as their first point of contact - making empathy, professionalism, and compassion essential to success in this role. Candidates who live within a commutable distance of a Morgan & Morgan office will be expected to work on‑site as part of their regular schedule. The ideal candidate will have availability to work between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., with weekend coverage required as business needs dictate. Qualified candidates may earn up to $250 after 90 days of employment. Responsibilities Conduct detailed intake calls with prospective clients. Vet and assess medical malpractice and nursing home claims. Gather and document medical and factual information with accuracy. Support key aspects of the legal intake process. Handle client questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism. Enter and maintain detailed client information in internal systems. Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in all interactions. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional listening, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities. Comfort working on the phone for extended periods. Strong computer and data entry skills. Highly organized with the ability to multitask and learn quickly. Able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Professional demeanor with a calm, empathetic, and client‑focused approach. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Bilingual skills are a plus! WFH requirements Must be able to provide a distraction free environment (no pets, TVs, children, etc).
