Get to Know the TeamThe Business Intelligence & Operations Solution (BIOS) team supports Malaysian Operations across two functions: the Business Intelligence arm delivers dashboards and analytics to surface insights that guide operational decisions, while the Operations Solution arm builds automation solutions and streamlines processes to drive efficiency.Together, we equip the operations team with the tools and data they need to move faster and work smarter. Get to Know the RoleYou will report to the Team Lead of the Business Intelligence & Operations Solution team. You will design, build and maintain automation solutions and pipelines that Malaysian Operations relies on to run efficiently. The solutions involve streamlining workflows and ensuring data flows seamlessly into the tools you build.This role is based onsite at our Petaling Jaya office.You will own end-to-end solution delivery: from scoping workflow bottlenecks with stakeholders to writing the scripts, integrating systems, and ensuring long-term adoption in the field. You'll deepen your expertise across solution architecture and the application of AI tools to real operational challenges.If you enjoy turning messy operational problems into clean, scalable solutions, this role is for you. The Critical Tasks You Will PerformAnalyze existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.Map operational workflows and write custom scripts to connect systems and automate manual tasks to enhance operational efficiencyUtilize Python to automate repetitive tasks and processes, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable.Write optimized SQL queries to fetch, transform, and feed operational data directly into scripts and automated workflows.Document all operational processes, including design, development, and implementation phases.Create comprehensive user guides and technical documentation to support the deployment and maintenance of solutions.Work closely with stakeholders within MY Operations to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing solutions. What Essential Skills You Will NeedThe Must-HavesPractical understanding of REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON handling, and connecting disparate tools programmatically.Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.At least 1 year of professional experience in Python programming, with the abili...
