Using advanced metals chemistry, you’ll help tackle the world’s biggest challenges - cutting emissions, powering modern life and supporting life‑saving technologies - by applying, refining and recycling metals that matter for a healthier, more sustainable, circular future.Due to the nature of this role applicants must be non-smokers and have been free from nicotine products for at least 3 months The role:As an Operator I - Entry Level Operator, you will help drive our goals by:• Working safely at all times, following site procedures, PPE requirements and safe working practices• Supporting production operations and learning to operate complex manufacturing and chemical processing equipment through structured training• Following process documentation, work instructions and risk assessments to ensure safe and consistent operations• Completing production records, batch sheets and shift handovers accurately to support continuous manufacturing• Carrying out basic preventative maintenance checks and reporting equipment or reliability concerns promptly• Contributing to continuous improvement activities, 5S standards and team initiatives to improve plant performanceKey skills that will help you succeed in this role:• A strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards• GCSEs (or equivalent) including English, Maths and Science• Good attention to detail with the ability to follow documented processes accurately• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team• A willingness to learn new skills and develop within a manufacturing environment• A reliable, organised and flexible approach with the ability to work shift patternsEven if you only match some of the skills, we’d love to hear from you to discuss further!WORKING HOURS:12-hour day and night shifts including weekends and bank holidays on a 2s and 3s shift pattern.
