(Friday off)Starting Pay: $15.50/hour (with potential for production bonuses and overtime)  We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Salt Lake City, United States.  As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes and maintaining high-quality standards.Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment and machineryPerform quality control checks and inspections throughout the production processTroubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtimeFollow and enforce safety protocols and procedures in the manufacturing environmentMaintain accurate records of production data, quality metrics, and equipment maintenanceCollaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and meet targetsAssist in the setup and changeover of production lines as neededParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processesClean and maintain work areas and equipment to ensure a safe and organized workspaceAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and quality standardsWhat You'll Do: As an Optical Manufacturing Associate, you'll play an integral role in our production team. Based on department needs, your duties may include tasks such as:Bench/Mounters: Inserting lenses into frames, edging, beveling, tinting, and ensuring lenses meet correct power, axis, and prism standards.Inspection: Checking frames and lenses for cosmetic and optical defects using ANSI standards.Surface: Using state of the art CNC optical machinery. Handling lens surface processes like taping, blocking, generating, coating, and polishing.AR Department: Operating state of the art Anti Reflective Coating Machinery, sorting and inspecting lenses, and ensuring they meet quality standards. High school diploma or equivalent preferredProficiency in operating manufacturing equipment and machineryBasic computer skills for data entry and report generationKnowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectivelyFlexibility to work both day and night shifts as requiredPhysical abili...
